Are you looking to install an inground pool and need ideas? Or do you have a poolscape that needs some updating? We’ve compiled some of the top pool patio trends to inspire our landscaping clients in Connecticut.
Water features
While a pool itself is a water feature, many of our clients also integrate waterfalls and other water features with their pools. This adds an extra layer of interest to any pool. Often in conjunction with a water feature, some clients want a poolscape that looks like it was carved out of a mountainside, complete with a waterfall and maybe even a slide!
Fire features
A custom stone fire pit designed as part of your pool deck can keep your family and friends swimming after the sun goes down and it gets a little chilly. A gas-powered fire pit can be a great low-maintenance option for pool owners.
Mixed materials
Pool patios combining concrete pavers as the patio with a natural stone edging in granite or bluestone can really offer an elegant look that won’t break the budget.
Natural stone diving board
One of our favorite poolscapes included a natural stone diving board. The boulder for the diving board actually came off the owner’s property.
